There is a specific reason why I picked Universum as this month’s FotM. Those of you that are familiar with Doctor Who can agree with me that this typeface resembles the Gallifreyan language of the timelords! Doctor Who is one of my all time favorite shows and I couldn’t ignore how amazing this font is!

Universum uses the circle as a template for the letterforms. JAF 34, the designer, created this font for use with posters and print designs. JAF 34 blurred the line between letters and art beautifully.
