Beats is a great and unique font because it was created using a “Colapen” which is created by cutting a soda can into the shape of a pen for a nice messy look. The creator, maghrib, tried to create a font with the cheapest materials he could think of.
The use of a Colapen has become a very popular trend in the typography world. It allows the designer to freely illustrate their lettering while adding a grungy texture.
Beats is a great typeface for bold, in your face, headings giving any design an attitude.
